Tailoring Question

If anyone knows the answer to this let me know..

I am planning on making a tailored armor. If i wanna tailor Quilted soft leather as an example and use T6 material(let say cloth) and T1 metal(bronze), will the result have the same stat as the T6 cloth and T6 metal? or both have 2 different stats?

Result is not same if both materials arent t6. Stats on it are something between t6 and t1.

The stats are averaged for types used. I have looked at this a little with the t5/t6 chauv and a bow.

Metal counts 6 times the amount of wood and wood counts six times the the amount of leather. So t1 metal and t6 leather will have the leather portion degraded a great deal when looking at the final stats. I did sort of make a formula to figure out what the stats (i don't have it handy. I'll try to hunt it down or work it out again) would be using the x6 and those calculations came very close to the output of crafting.
